How to License a Course from Coast Learning Systems

A Standard Telecourse License requires the payment of a per student fee in addition to the license fee. We also offer a Student Fee Only option when you license a telecourse. Your total fee for this option would be the flat-rate fee multiplied by the number of enrolled students. If a larger number of students enroll in your telecourse than anticipated, Coast Learning Systems will automatically convert your Student Fee Only license into a regular telecourse license. That way, your college will always be paying the lesser cost of the two fee structures.

Online Courses require a license for access to the course content; however, the institution is not charged a license fee or per student fee. All online course fees are bundled with the textbook.

Telecourses may require the purchase of master tapes, a one-time cost for broadcast, cablecast, or non-broadcast presentation of the video lessons. Please contact our office at (800) 547-4748 for a list of available formats and prices. Copy and return master tapes (Bicycle Tapes) are available for $450, plus $35 for UPS ground shipping.

Coast is pleased to make a select number of courses available on DVDs. For details on purchasing DVDs for student use, please see the DVD Order Form (see link to the left). Please refer to the copyright language on each of the forms for use and restriction information. DVD order forms must be completed and faxed or mailed to our office. Phone and e-mail orders cannot be accepted.
