Web Hunt: Effective Note Taking

Using your favorite search engine, access the Internet to find at least two (2) sites that define and describe the tools and techniques of effective note taking. You may use any of the following keywords, or come up with some of your own: "note taking," "note taking techniques," and "effective note taking tips." If you have trouble finding sites on this subject, you may wish to visit the following sites:

After viewing the sites, write a brief review of both of them. List the URL of each site, and offer an evaluation. Did you learn anything of value at the site? Who might benefit from it? Would you recommend it to your fellow students? Why or why not?

Web Hunt: Journal Writing

Using your favorite search engine, access the Internet to find at least two (2) sites that discuss the importance of journal writing. You may use any of the following keywords, or come up with some of your own: "journalling," "journal writing," and "free form journal writing."

After viewing the sites, write a brief review of both of them. List the URL of each site, and offer an evaluation. Did you learn anything of value at the site? Who might benefit from it? Would you recommend it to your fellow students? Why or why not?
