Web Hunt: Personal Values, Interests, and Goals

Using your favorite search engine, access the Internet to find at least two (2) sites that can help you identify your personal values, interests, and goals. You may use any of the following keywords, or come up with some of your own: "goals," "values," "personal values," "life goals." If you have trouble finding sites on this subject, you may wish to visit:

Write a brief review of what you found. List the URL of each site, and offer an evaluation. Did you learn anything of value at the site? Who might benefit from it? Would you recommend it to your fellow students? Why or why not?

Be ready to share this written review with your class.

Web Hunt: Choosing a Major or a Career

Using your favorite search engine, access the Internet to find at least two (2) sites that offer assistance in career planning, choosing a major, and finding a job. You may use any of the following keywords, or come up with some of your own: "career planning," "choosing a major," "finding employment." If you have trouble finding sites on this subject, you may wish to visit:

Write a brief review of what you found. List the URL of each site, and offer an evaluation. Did you learn anything of value at the site? Who might benefit from it? Would you recommend it to your fellow students? Why or why not?
