Web Hunt: Concept Map vs. Mind Map
- Using your favorite search engine, access the Internet to find
at least two (2) sites that describe the meaning of a mind map and
how it differs from a concept map. You may use any of the following
keywords, or come up with some of your own: "concept maps,"
"mind mapping." If you have trouble finding sites on this
subject, you may wish to visit the following site:
- After viewing the sites, write a brief review of both of them.
List the URL of each site, and offer an evaluation. Did you learn
anything of value at the site? Who might benefit from it? Would
you recommend it to your fellow students? Why or why not?
- Be ready to share this written review with your class.
Web Hunt: Handwriting
- Using your favorite search engine, access the Internet to find
at least two (2) sites that offer tips on improving handwriting.
You may use any of the following keywords, or come up with some
of your own: "improve handwriting," "handwriting
tips," "reading notes," "note taking challenges."
- After viewing the sites, write a brief review of both of them.
List the URL of each site, and offer an evaluation. Did you learn
anything of value at the site? Who might benefit from it? Would
you recommend it to your fellow students? Why or why not?
- Be ready to share this written review with your class.
