Web Resources for Lesson 6: Youve Got a Great MemoryWeb Hunt: MemoryUsing your favorite search engine, access the Internet to find at least two (2) sites that provide information on memory. Read the information you find on general memory techniques. Everyone seems to have a memory technique they want to share. Some may have a basis in science, some may not. Some may work for you, some may not. If you have trouble finding sites on this subject, you may wish to visit the following sites at:
After viewing the sites, write a brief review of both of them. List the URL of each site, and offer an evaluation. Did you learn anything of value at the site? Who might benefit from it? Would you recommend it to your fellow students? Why or why not? Be ready to share this written review with your class. Houghton
Mifflin Student Success site, exercises for chapter 3 of Ellis text. Please note:The World Wide Web is an ever-changing environment. URLs frequently become outdated, obsolete, and/or change when Internet sites are updated, or servers become disabled. If you are not able to access one of the URLs listed above, try the following: access the host name only; log on to search engines; or try the URL the following day. If you are still unable to access URLs we have listed at this site, there is a good chance that the site has been disabled. It is our intention to keep this site up-to-date. We would greatly appreciate any feedback you can give us. Please contact us and let us know if there are URLs in our listings that are no longer accessible.
